1. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Developer, Infinity Ward, has done it again with the Call of Duty series and its release of Modern Warfare 2. The game continues where the last Modern Warfare campaign ended. In this version you will play as a Sergeant Gary “Roach” Anderson, and one of the Modern Warfare protagonists, John “Soap” MacTavish, against national terrorists and weapons dealers hell bent on taking down the free world.

The first Modern Warfare was a best seller and it has been said that the new version blows it away.

2. Apple iPod Touch

The iPod touch is a pocket computer, not just an MP3 player. It has all the features of the iPhone, except for the phone part. You can download and install apps, surf the internet (if near a WIFI spot), use email, and even make iPod to PC calls using Skype. The touchscreen is very reactive and allows you to control it by using movement and on screen controls.

It comes with the Safari browser that lets you see the real websites instead of a shrunk down, hand held version.

3. Xbox 360

The Xbox 360 gaming system has been out for a while now, but it is still a best seller. You can watch movies, play games, and even play your favorites games online. The Xbox is HDMI ready so that you are able to play in HD, comes with a wireless controller, and a 20GB hard drive so you can store game files and even games on the console.

4. Nintendo Wii

The Nintendo Wii is the latest craze, with sales surpassing both the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3. The Wii Fit Games have gotten the gaming world up and exercising with really realizing it. Researchers say that using the Wii fit is almost as good for your body as doing physical activity at a gym. Of course, this was the Nintendo researchers doing all the research, so I do not know how reliable that collected information is….but I’m sure it’s better then sitting down playing a game.

5. HP Touchsmart 600

A great all-in-one computer that saves space without sacrificing performance. This computer has all the “computer” parts built into the flat screen monitor to make a sleek, and very professional design. The monitor is a 23″ touchscreen LCD that lets the user interact without the need for a mouse. The computers comes well equipped with a Core 2 Duo Processor, 4GB memory, a built in GeForce G200 video card, 750GB hard drive and Windows 7 Home Premium. This computer is more then enough for any user but is designed for top end consumers.

6. Panasonic TC-P50V10

This Panasonic Plasma TV features a sleek thin profile with industry leading image quality. The TV is a 50″ windscreen Full HD TV with 1080p for the best home entertainment system. Can you imagine watching the big game on this monster??? You would have to pay outrageous prices to get seats that good.

7. Amazon Kindle

The Amazon Kindle is a great tool for anyone that loves to read. You can use the Kindle Store to purchase new books to add to your collection since they have over 360,000 titles to choose from. You can get most new releases for only $9.99, but there is many more for less. You can also read the top newspapers, magazines, and blogs all from a hand held reader….what else could a bookworm ask for?

8. HTC Hero (See your local phone carrier for deals)

Looking for an iPhone killer??? The HTC is on its way to becoming one. The HTC Hero allows user customization that reaches a level never seen before and even allows you to personalize the widgets that the phone uses. The sleek design is touch based, but it has buttons on the bottom to help you navigate around the phone. It runs on the Droid OS and is completely open source….great for a programmer like myself.

Also I have heard that this phone is great for left-handed people (I am left handed). Since I completely fell in love with this phone over the last few weeks I have decided to give myself a early Christmas present by buying this phone for myself and for my wife. I will do a full review on it once I get it and can play with it for a while.

9. Garmin Navigation System

The Garmin portable GPS system is a great tool for any adventurer. Especially if they are prone to getting lost. This GPS gives accurate real time navigation using the street names so you know where you are at and where you need to go.

The touch screen is easy to use and can become an essential part of anyone’s trip planning. You can use it to find any POI (Point of Interest) like a close gas station, restaurant, ATM, hotel, and so much more. You can either navigate in 3D or 2D mode, whichever you prefer.

10. Acer Aspire Netbook

This netbook is great for any user that wants to save space but does not want to lose computing power. The Acer Aspire One netbook comes well equipped with a 10.1″ screen, 1.6GHz Atom Processor, 1GB memory and a 160GB hard drive. It comes with Windows XP Home and a Crystal Eye webcam.

The netbook is one of the new craves, but I personally do not want one because I think it is to small, even if the price is most of the time half of the regular notebook competitors. It does not come with a DVD drive but does come with USB for a portable DVD drive….another reason I do not like them. Its a great toy for young kinds or older people, but for a normal user that enjoys watching wide screen movies and browsing the internet without having to scroll to see the whole page I would recommend getting a larger laptop, but that is my two sense.
